Vice President - Project Management - IT

Responsible for leading and directly managing a group of Senior Project Managers, PMs and coordinators with a span of 100-150 resources

Influences and negotiates with senior leadership & major stakeholders to establish strategic plans and objectives for various technical/process, programs or projects and for setting high level strategy on business, product, and customer service needs

Responsible for selecting, training, developing, and managing performance of direct reports in area of specialty; and mentoring, coordinating, planning, and providing direction to direct reports in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable legal requirements

Responsible for conducting performance reviews with direct reports

Ensures project control and Oversees project / Program / Portfolio risks and interfaces with high level users to define needs and issues

Manages budget/forecasting; developing and/or authorizing policies/procedures/controls within scope of project to optimize results while ensuring compliance with government regulations and enterprise policies

Strong ability to guide individuals toward goal achievement using negotiation, teamwork/collaboration, motivation and staff development skills including the ability to act as a role model within the organization
