Job Description/Responsibilities: 

- Take leadership role by independently managing Product Data Management operations.

- Independently handle multiple clients - establish self as a valued partner

- Build domain expertise and lead from the front

- Collaborate with BD and CEM teams to pitch and close business opportunities

- Lead team size of typically 100 plus people - lead hiring, training, onboarding, resource allocation, delivery management, performance appraisals, mentoring etc.

- Proactively manage career paths of key persons and minimize program dependence on individuals by building strong succession plans

- Collaborate with Quality team in identifying process gaps, planning end to end fixes and leading execution to meet six sigma quality

- Keep a strong focus on process efficiency so as to derive cost benefits to client as well as the organization.

- Independently handle all client escalations and lead mitigation steps to prevent future escalations.

- Implement process health check through metric dashboards and put in place watertight process governance.

- Help knowledge management proliferation by sharing process knowledge and best practices within and across teams

Background & Skills

- The engineering graduate from a reputed university.MBA preferred

- 10+ years of experience in Data and Information operations or Online Data Operations or Digital Sales & Marketing Operations.

- 5+ years of experience in Product Data Operations

- Strong business understanding of hi-tech manufacturing and retail industries

- Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) and comfortable presenting at senior levels. Must have strong capabilities in MS Word & PowerPoint

- Will need to work at similar hours as clients being managed

- Superior execution skills - should be a hands-on manager

- Willingness to continuously learn, upgrade skills and stay relevant to business demands

- Conceptualize, design and deliver high-quality solutions and insightful analysis on a variety of projects ranging in both complexity and scope

- Must have excellent interpersonal skills - the ability to network and earn the confidence of diverse Client personnel plus interaction with and management of organization India based operations team

- Must be able to work with teams across time-zones and cultures

- Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible& highly motivated

- Must be able to act fast and decisively when dealing with critical situations - the ability to read situations and act in real time

- Must be good with numbers and ability to derive insights from data

- Superior in planning, organizing and time management

- Prior experience with offshoring processes and methodologies highly preferred
