Role will be responsible for top of the line product that delivers positive impact in today's rapidly changing marketplace. Its advanced algorithms use multiple data sources to recommend the optimum rates to revenue managers and help them develop a more effective pricing strategy for their transient business segment.
Role & Responsibilities
The owner of a product line is responsible for planning, development and marketing of the product throughout its lifecycle. The role encompasses gathering business requirements, defining the product vision, developing the product roadmap and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure delivery in line with the roadmap
Key responsibilities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hospitality & travel revenue management and related technology solutions
Define the product strategy and roadmap for new and existing product components and take ownership of their delivery
Deliver required documentation for Engineering and Development teams with prioritized features and corresponding commercial justification
Work with the Engineering and Development teams to ensure successful delivery of new products and enhancements
Direct and support the marketing of product enhancements and the launch of new products
Work with Marketing, Sales, Account Management and Technical Support teams to provide go-to-market strategies, product expertise and guidance
Be an expert with respect to competitor products and services and strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the market
Supervise and mentor a team of Business Analysts and Data Scientists
Experience & Education Qualification
Minimum of 8 years experience as a Product Manager with Enterprise Applications in B2B space in a Technology environment is a must
Demonstrated success in defining and launching new products, must have worked on wireframes and PRDs
Bachelor's degree in computer science; MBA preferred but not a requirement
Technical background, with experience in Data Analytics and/or optimization technologies and Microsoft technologies will be an added advantage Domain knowledge in travel / hospitality industry especially in revenue management is preferred
