Vice President - Product Management - Insurance Sector

Vice President - Product (5-10 yrs)

About the Role: As the Product Manager on the business side, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the product i.e., from ideation to launch and ongoing management. The person will report to Head of Products and will be responsible for the Insurance product program

Responsibilities:

- Develop the product strategy and roadmap to grow the category revenue, volume.

- Understand Customer needs and gaps to design and develop new products and processes

- Enhance existing product offering and customer/partner experience to increase product penetration and business participation

- Evaluate potential partnerships with new Insurance companies

- Create new tools, strategies, and focus on product innovation to increase top-line revenue.

- Work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners to create positive business impact on volume, revenue, customer retention, identify avenues for cross-selling, up-selling at product level

- Conceptualize and deliver effective training modules to drive the desired business impact

- Liaison with various departments including sales, marketing, finance, operations and technology for seamless management of the product portfolio

- Ensure timely regulatory submissions and compliance requirements

- Work closely with tech team, participating in the tech discussion regarding features feasibility, digital journey

- Ensure consistent execution of product lifecycle processes from concept to launch, working closely with sales, design and tech team

Skills and Qualifications:

- More than 5 years of experience in product management preferably in Insurance sector

- 2-3 years of sales experience will be an added advantage

- Has understanding of the Insurance business

- High effectiveness in managing internal and external stakeholders and cross-functional teams

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
