Vice President- Procurement ( Food- dairy, Pulp & Chicken)
Role:
- As the Procurement Lead, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the procurement process for
Dairy, Fruit Pulp, Chicken and food & beverage-related products and services within the organization.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring the availability of high-quality products at competitive prices.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies: Formulate effective procurement strategies aligned with the organization's objectives, considering factors such as cost, quality, availability, and sustainability.
- Supplier management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, price, and delivery capabilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of food and beverage products.
- Contract negotiation: Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and service level agreements. Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Vendor performance management: Monitor and assess supplier performance regularly. Establish performance metrics and conduct periodic reviews to ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, and service expectations.
