This role is responsible for process and control design of Capital end-to-end process, and ongoing management of underlying operational risk. This role is also responsible for managing the Service Management function, including steering the relationship with key stakeholders as part of Capital CoE process management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide leadership to overall Process design and controls across Capital processes, including ensuring compliance to Operational Risk Framework

- Lead the Service Management function, providing leadership to improved relationship across key stakeholders and Capital CoE

- Provide leadership to overall technology change lifecycle governance, working closely with Change CoE, but front ending all relationships with key stakeholders for both BAU and change items

- Provide thought leadership to build an organizational and functional roadmap and execute on the same - across Process design, service management and technology change lifecycle governance.

- Define and drive plan of action to make tangible improvements to CTPs, KPIs and CTQs

- Ensure compliance to BCBS239 and other relevant regulatory compliance in data quality controls and management

- Ensure compliance to ORF and other key regulations and framework. Ensure zero audit issues across Capital CoE

- Build organization / domain expertise within team focussing on Capital KPIs, including a deep domain understanding of Basel II, Basel III and other related regulations impacting Capital ratios and their calculations

People / Resource Management

- Build, manage, coach, develop and engage a team of high performing individuals.

Process and Service Management

- Identify opportunities to remove process waste, engage in standardisation of various reporting packs and encourage, drive and support automation initiatives thereby reduce / remove the non-value adds in the process.

- Establish robust control and governance on the process

- Drive productivity and achieve cost efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives.

- Drive a culture to capture appropriate metrics for tracking actual hours/ standard hours/ errors etc

- Ensure detailed documentation and it is up to date for all processes

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Essential

1. Exposure to managing small business units end to end covering Budget, Profitability, Stake Holder & Team management

2. International Exposure through short / long term assignment in delivery / business development

3. Ability to present strategic plans to senior management

4. Proven ability to provide thought leadership on strategic initiatives of any one of the previous organizations

5. Finance Professionals (Chartered Accountant) or Under-Graduation in Engineering + MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution

6. 12 to 18 years of relevant experience

7. Minimum of 5 years in strong delivery roles

8. Strong analytical skills

9. Good understanding of banking products / Operations

10. PMP / or any other Professional certification will be an added advantage

Desirable

Domain skills on Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) Analysis & Reporting, Basel II Reporting/Regulatory Reporting and Credit Risk Analytics.
