An exciting, pivotal role for a Masters in Accounting well-versed in Private Equity, Fund Accounting, IFRS, US Regulation. You will lead a team of CA professionals who are responsible for Calculations of Net Asset Values, Distributions, Expenses, Fee Billing, etc. LOCATION: Bangalore SHIFT: - US Shift (6:00 PM onwards) YOUR FUTURE EMPLOYER A leading, global firm with a distinguished clientele providing extensive financial and asset management services. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR - Assisting in Managing Client Delivery team and book of clients that provides the following services for Private Equity Fund clients - Maintaining books and records of Fund Entities, Special Purpose Vehicles, and Carry plans - Reviewing the financial statements, capital calls and other client deliverables produced by the Fund Accountants. - Partnering with various internal teams (Core Accounting, tax, treasury, client on-boarding) and external partners (clients and auditors) - Monitoring team's adherence to control procedures THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE - Bachelor's degree in Accounting - CPA is a plus - Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably including Public Big 4 and partnership or private equity fund accounting - Strong technical knowledge of complex accounting concepts, structures, and investor allocations. - Supervising a team of 30+ fund accountants WHATS IN FOR YOU - An opportunity to define, lead and coordinate the Audit functions of the company. - Liaise extensively with stakeholders - A meritocratic culture with clear/great career progression.
