Detailed Role & Responsibilities :
- Engage with Project Managers & Subject Matter Experts to gather requirements.
- Acquire an understanding of current state processes and business context
- Apply a structured project management approach and methodology
- Participate in the projects prioritization process
- Develop key program artifacts, reporting & communication plans
- Full service project management - leading & engaging in all project lifecycle phases
- Work with IT in developing & implementing appropriate technical solutions
- Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans, including communication plan, change implementation plan and training plan
- Manage cross functional relationships (including at the Senior Executive level) across the group
About You :
- To be successful, you will be Project Management certified or actively working towards this accreditation. You will have experience working on Projects in the financial services industry.
Technical skills and business knowledge :
- Extensive project management experience, across varied projects preferably independent handling of large projects
- Proven experience to deliver System based projects and change initiatives
- Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and work independently
- Motivate, lead and influence a project team of indirect reports
- Strong documentation skills with the ability to develop complete, accurate and unambiguous documentation of business processes
- Can do- attitude, with a proven record of delivering project outcomes
- Flexible skill set and confident approach to tackling issues
Communication skills :
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization
- Strong facilitation, oral and written communication skills. Effective presentation skills
- Strong Power Point /Process/Systems/Data Mapping skills - well developed ability to define and document processes and capture process/system/data requirements end-to-end, MS Visio skills

- Further opportunities to improve processes - detect and highlight any control gaps in the process.
Experience/Certifications required :
- CA preferred. Alternately, B.Com with CPA / ICWA/ MBA Finance.
- Peer bank experience essential with good background & understanding of BFSI/Investment Banking Operations in India
- Comfortable in working with virtual teams spread across the globe
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince 2 certification desirable
- Overall post-qualification experience of around 14-16 years with about 8-10 years of relevant experience in Program/Project management, regulatory projects, business process re-engineering and process transitions, preferably in the Financial Services industry
