Job Purpose

This role is responsible for providing leadership in managing the overall delivery of a sub function- Payroll Services and exists to ensure that all payroll related compliance and regulatory requirements are met as per the external guidelines (legislative) and also complies with Internal guidelines. The role also exists to ensure all benefits related activities are completed on time and in a compliant manner as per the clients guidelines.

Job Role

- Overall responsibility of managing the Payroll, Shadow Payroll, Flexi Benefits Reimbursement and Deferred award process, Expat Payroll and remittance as per clients standards for India

- Full accountability for all statutory pay over's to the relevant 3rd party organisations within appropriate deadlines within Delegation of Authority limits

- To liaise and provide expert opinion on continuous improvement actionable that require legal / statutory / regulatory compliance. To liaise with the labour consultants, external bodies, government authorities for closure of notices & inspection matters

- Work closely with the stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement process are delivered and drive forward to support the objective to achieve a - world class- delivery services function

- Handles complex queries/executive escalations from stakeholders, customers and vendors. Responds and resolves escalations within the assigned team

- Conducts performance appraisal and identifies training and developmental needs for assigned team

- Mitigate function-related risk through the development, management, implementation, and evaluation of the effectiveness of programs, policies, services, and staff,

- Participate and support the annual budget and strategic planning processes, optimisation/reduction of operating cost. Manage controllable costs across area of responsibility through investigation of trends

The skills you will need:

- Master's degree and professional HR training

- 15+ of experience in a Senior Human Resources position is required, preferably within an organization of similar size and/or structure

- Understanding of key commercial measures, profit and loss, costs and budgets and an understanding of the impact of HR service delivery on the bottom line

- Thorough knowledge of Labour Law Compliance

- Advanced skills in coaching and facilitation

- Skill in budget preparation and fiscal management
