VP - Payments and Controls || Pune

Hiring for a leading Investment Bank in Pune.

Required skills :

- Cross-functional and cross-divisional role supporting Payments Governance, Control framework, and other Payments initiatives

- Direct involvement in designing and implementing the bank-wide payments control model

- Drive implementation of Key controls (SOX/Non-SOX) for all payment processing functions

- Drive quality, control, and innovation in the banks' payments processes,

- Redesign the Banks Payment policies and framework and improve the Governance model Bank-wide

- Leadership role in defining, syndicating, and implementing the control standards across the divisions and functions in the bank

- Monitor risks and issues and develop market-leading standards across payments processes

- Partner with Vendors, Business Transformation and IT teams to build Proof of Concepts and then implement into the Business

- Drive data requirements to ensure data is strategically sourced, meets minimum policy standards, and aligns to the Data Lake vision / existing components

- Develop new data analytical methods in the Payments process using new technologies and techniques such as data lineage

- Work across functions and divisions in a Global role with an opportunity to create a wide network and relationships

Eligibility :

- You have Bachelor/Masters degree or above

- You have 10+ years of proven work experience in Payments and knowledge of the Bank's Payments architecture and processes

- Desirable experience in Audit and Risk Functions focusing on Payments

- You have knowledge of the external payments environment, regulations and industry initiatives

- You have the outstanding ability to chair and manage governance meetings with senior management, balancing competing views, negotiate collaborative agreements with beneficial outcomes for all partners

- You have strong interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to influence and interact with colleagues at all levels across the bank

- You have the ability to work on multiple projects and meet strict deadlines

- You have good data analytical skills and the ability to write policy documentation

- Expert in MS Office, particularly in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

- You are able to quickly understand content in order to carry on 'content-driven conversations with partners and colleagues
