Vice President - Operations - Manufacturing Firm

We are looking for a VP Operations, with min 20-25 years' experience in manufacturing who is responsible for the P&L of the plant operations. He will be reporting to Director operations and his role amongst other responsibilities, the following:

Role:

- Leading departments and operations of the plant

- Budgeting for multiple projects, including monitoring and controlling costs

- Work closely with Human Resources to implement and refine company policies and procedures

- Guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of management and executive team members

- Tackling unforeseen issues and troubleshooting

- Representing the company for external and internal events

- Monitoring the competitive landscape and fine-tuning activities to gain advantage

- Identifying, training, and developing leaders within the company and setting them on a path for management

Requirement:

- B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering

- MBA in Operations will be an advantage but is not necessary

- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory in a senior position

- Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment.
