VP Private Labels Foods- New Product Development

Job Detail :

- Leads the Product Development for all Foods products for Private Labels - End to End product development starting from product brief to prototypes to manufacturing set up and production

- Leads the Vendor Development for the portfolio - this includes developing new vendors, vendor capacity development, cost management

- Supplier Development - Development of RM/ingredient suppliers and ingredients to improve products and vendor capability

- Understand consumer trends and put in place an innovation and product improvement funnel

- Bring in relevant technology into design, manufacturing and packaging

- Monitor and evaluate market trends and competitive data to identify opportunities and make strategic recommendations for maximizing revenue & profitability

Skills & Experience :

- 15+ years experience in product development of foods products with successful record of new product introductions

- Experience in developing manufacturing capacity for New Products and scaling up of new products in market

- Experience in working with partners - Fragrance and Ingredient suppliers, Manufacturing and machinery vendors.

- Experience in vendor management - new product introductions, machinery assimilations, vendor capability

- Strong Product Development and Quality orientation to develop excellent products

- Entrepreneurial attitude to build a significant business given the opportunity
