Vice President - Mobile Channel - BFSI/Online

Job Title : VP - Mobile Channel

Reports to : Head - Strategic Planning Group

Direct Reportees; : 1 Head of Mobile development and applications and 2-3 Mobile Channel Managers

General Description of the Job :

- Responsible for defining the enterprise mobile strategy for the company and building the business by leveraging mobile as a key channel.

- Responsible for defining the mobile architecture across the value chain for the company and enabling mobile for business growth by deploying mobile applications including conceptualization, development and management to enable mobile for business.

- Jointly Responsible for partnering other channels and processes which leverage mobile as part of their business model or operations.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Building and executing the Business Model leveraging mobile as a channel and development of effective market penetration strategies for mobile based platforms.

- Leading and managing a cross-functional team of mobile channel managers and mobile developers to identify on-going business opportunities using mobile, to identify, develop and deploy mobile technologies and application solutions to capitalize on these opportunities which enable acquisition of new customers and drive business growth.

- Defining the enterprise mobility strategy, governance model and execution model to envision, develop and sustain mobile applications for present and future.

- Partner and Jointly drive business growth across channels and processes that utilize mobile technology or applications eg : Agency, Claims etc also ensuring that the mobile technologies and applications are refreshed from time to time.

- Built strong connections to the mobile ecosystem - advising/partnering with stakeholders

- Conduct Mobility assessments and develop Mobility roadmaps, maturity assessments and new business models.

IT Platforms :

- Android and iOS platform knowledge. Native App, Adobe

Education & Work Experience Requirements :

- B.E/B. Tech, M. Tech or MCA, MBA with 10+ years of relevant experience

- Proven ability in leading and building businesses/categories with end customers using mobile as a platform / channel by converting business opportunities and technology choices into products and services.
