Vice President - MIS - BFSI

Person will be responsible for managing multiple teams responsible for metrics reporting, regulatory submission and projects and building the culture of Continuous Improvement supporting business across DCO, Middle offices as well as Global teams. The individual will be interacting with multiple operations teams within the organization as well as on-shore business & technology teams to (re)design reporting process. The individual will lead the following teams, for which the key roles and responsibilities are

Metrics & Projects:

- Create, Migrate and manage metrics reporting across CIB groups. This includes Middle office across various asset classes, Derivative and Currencies global operations

- Lead and be involved in designing and implementing of end state reporting infrastructure

- Manage stakeholder's expectations and prioritize work for the team

Regulatory Reporting:

- Creating new regulatory reporting in coordination with the global projects team and DCO MIS team for compliance with Dodd Frank, EMIR, JFSA and other regulations

- Improving controls in the regulatory reporting suite to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance

- Explore multiple data sources to improve reporting

- Manage new MIS requirements across multiple stakeholders

- Participate in tech projects (including UATs) on reporting platforms

- Regular updation to senior management on regulatory reporting changes, compliance, projects updated and issues.

- Graduate or Post-Graduate with 8-12 years experience in operations.

- Familiarity with a global bank's process & operational environment including management and external reporting is a must. Strong business knowledge i.e. Investment Banking, including product, process and system knowledge.

- Ability to think and act strategically:

a) Deal with day-to-day issues as well as planning and executing projects / initiatives

b) Ensuring the team's activities support Operations in attaining its strategic goals

c) Excellent attention to detail, and an ability to know when a deep-dive approach is appropriate

- Ability to drive results through a "hands-on" approach
