Vice President - Middle Office - Investment Bank

This is a VP level position within Investment Banking Operations of a leading Global Investment Bank based in Chennai.

The key responsibilities are listed below :

- Managing a team of 15-20 individuals working on middle office functions like trade support, reconciliations, confirmations and other bespoke functions

- Manage exceptions related to trades on product classes within securities such as Equities, Bonds and Derivatives

- Manage relationships and liaise with global stakeholders

- Work with various other teams within operations like sales, desk and other departments to resolve client queries within a pre-agreed time frame

The requirements for this position are listed below :

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in an Investment Banking Operations setup

- Hands on experience in processes such as confirmations, trade support, reconciliations

- Strong understanding of various asset classes such as Interest Rates, Credit, FX, Fixed Income and Equities

- A proven track record in team management and leadership

- Experience in driving automation and efficiency based projects
