Job Profile : Vice President- Mergers & Acquisitions

We have been retained by a foreign investment bank to identify a Vice President- Mergers & Acquisitions to be based at Mumbai.

Job Purpose :

- To drive International Equity and M&A business origination.

- To drive the formation of alliances with foreign M&A and equity advisors to enable cross-border mandates.

Responsibilities :

- The candidate will be responsible for origination, business planning and will be assessed on revenue generation. He should have excellent cross border relationships.

- Responsible for financial analysis, financial modelling, valuations, deal origination, negotiations and deal execution.

- Responsible for preparation of pitch-books on M&A, company profiling, peer/competitor study, building financial comparables, qualitative & industry analysis across various geographies.

- Responsible for coordinating with legal, accounting, tax & technical consultants.

- Transaction structuring discussions, and drafting of offer/bid documents.

- Managing a team of analysts to ensure good quality and timely result.

- Build relationships with investment committee directors, chairmen and board members of foreign institutions.

Candidate Profile :

- Candidates should be Chartered Accountants or MBAs from premium business schools with about 8 to 10 years relevant experience in investment banking or consulting firms. Candidates should have international relationships and should have worked in multinational environment.
