Vice President - Medical Coding Operations - Startup

Job Description :

We are hiring VP - Medical Coding Operations for our client (Startup) in Chennai.

Roles and Responsibilities - 

- Build and manage the coding team in India as it is a US-based Startup.

- The initial kick-off phase will be a lot of untraditional things such as getting the office space ready, hiring coders, coding, QA our partner's coding results, client meetings, etc. Long term plans are to build up the team in India.

- Developing a deep understanding of the organizations business and providing leadership visions and ensure the quality of all deliverable is met.

- Managing stakeholder relationships, by partnering and influencing them on business and day to day operational issues and expectations.

- Contributing to plan and lead the implementation of annual operating plans for the relevant business unit.

- Enforcing that SLA's are met on time

- People Management

- Mentoring, Coaching team in meeting the organization's value and vision Desired Candidate Profile

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

- Minimum 9 years of experience in Medical coding industry is mandatory.

- Should be willing to work in a startup and take all the responsibilities to build a strong team from the root.

- Hands-on experience in team and people management (Medical Coding).

- People who have worked onsite or in international shift timings are preferred.

- Bachelor / Master's qualification.
