We are anchoring a mandate for VP-Marketing for a reputed Indian refinery client of ours in Chennai.

- Incumbents with experience of over 15 yrs, with the strong credibility of working in the FMCG industry, are most preferred 

- Applicants should have been heading the marketing function for a good decade or more !

- The incument should have managed a marketing budget of not less than Rs.100 crore per annum.

- Strong experience in portfolio marketing is highly desirable.

- The applicant should be aged preferably below 50 yrs.

- We are scouting for top-notch professionals with extensive experience in consumer product marketing & brand marketing.

- The position would report to the Managing Director of the organisation.

- Should possess Excellent knowledge of South India Markets.

- Prefer someone with Formative years in Hard core FMCG sales, heading National or Strong Regional Brand Marketing for (at least) last 5 years - for one brand or suite of brands.

- Currently should be reporting to CEO / MD or Promoter (if family owned co.) .

Should currently be having a team of Brand Managers reporting to her /him

Roles & Resp:

1. Responsible for All India Sales & Market Shares of all Consumer Brands of our client.

2. Complete responsibility for conceiving/planning and executing all brand Marketing & Trade Marketing activities for all Brands of the client''s Consumer Business in line with Sales / Business objectives - by working closely with the Sales Teams.

3. Total accountability for Brand P&L for all company's Consumer Brands. Drive the same by interacting closely with sales / Mfg / packaging, Supply Chain & Finance.

4. Generate Consumer Insights & Trade Insights through well-executed Brand Marketing activities like Media Planning, Market Research, Analytics etc.

5. Develop Marketing team and Leadership through Fieldwork and training.

6. Work closely with the senior leadership of other functions and Director in developing & executing company's business Strategy across all identified Markets / Consumer segments.

7. Be the "Passionate" Voice of the Consumer and possess the ability to transform Sharp Consumer Insights into executing Winning Business Ideas for the organization.

PS - The present CTC of the applicants should not be less than Rs.50L fixed CTC!
