Looking for VP - Marketing

Experience: 6-8 Years

Location: Bangalore

JD: VP Marketing

- Comprehensive role that includes ownership of both the digital and offline pieces; ideally, bend of individual would be more toward digital but would also needs to have ability to think about offline strategy and give general direction

- Strong analytical bend required to provide insights into digital strategy; needs excellent business sense over and above just marketing understanding

- Own all marketing P&L for mobile/web business as well as offline; including budget planning/allocation, campaign performance and customer acquisition cost.

- Optimize campaigns and continuously drive down customer acquisition costs

- Leverage technology, creativity and data driven insights to optimize campaigns by sharp contextual targeting and re targeting

- Develop KPIs and conduct marketing effectiveness analysis during and following campaigns

- Evaluate new channel opportunities

- Provide insights and perspective for adoption of these by evaluating experiments to be run across different marketing channels

- Know how on whom/when to retarget across marketing channels

Ideal candidate should have/be:

- Degree from IITs/IIM (or equivalent) with 6-8 yrs of relevant work experience, preferably 2-3 years start-ups experience (ideally taking from Series A and beyond)

- Self starter, innovative, multi-tasking and a creative thinker with strong attention to detail

- High comfort level running robust analysis to track ROI and ongoing performance linked to KPIs

- Deep experience with sensitivity analysis and experimentation as it relates to quantifying campaign/feature performance

- Orientation around product development style thinking and ability to clearly define and articulate business objectives to management

- Very strong on analytics, process oriented thinking, problem solving skills and logical reasoning, extremely data driven and have ability to think like the customer

- Understanding of digital marketing concepts (including performance marketing, re marketing), strategy and best practices is a plus
