Job Title / Location

Vice President - Marketing reporting to CEO based in Bengaluru

Objectives of this Role :

- Collaborate with the four business teams (B2C, B2B, International and Shiksha) to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies

- Identify revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by securing new accounts

- Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations

- Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team

Role & Responsibilities :

- Lead the development of our marketing plans to influence our clients (school owners, principals, teachers, students, CSR heads, foundations) to underscore the importance of assessments with high quality questions and the need for personalized adaptive learning

- Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations

- Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and strategies, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive interest and sales

- Use data and analytics for decision making and measuring marketing effectiveness as well as creating a culture of structured experimentation and iteration to drive growth.

- Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis

Skills and Qualifications :

- The company is looking for someone who has seen and contributed to hyper scale business environment (10x growth)

- Experience in building large scale communities, engagement and monetization (millions of MAU)

- Understands digital performance marketing with a proven track record in growth hacking

- Exceptional communication & creative skills to create appropriate impactful marketing content to attract attention of the target segments. Can understand how to package and communicate our scholastic product proposition. Example "the company as a learning expert" positioning

- Someone with a strong foundational knowledge and deep understanding about specific customer end-consumer segments who will benefit from specific products of the company. Example experience of working with organizations where young moms or children as a customer segment, will be an added advantage

- Successful track record in senior marketing roles and creating marketing campaigns

- Experience with digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing

- Proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software

- Established portfolio of media and PR contacts
