Looking for VP-Marketing for our client in car rental industry to be based in Gurgaon. Concept: - Creating the largest self-drive car rental company in India, with a fleet of 15-20,000 cars in 5 years - Building on the shared economy theme to create a - timeshare- concept for cars; allow consumers to access premium cars which they want to use on as-needed basis, instead of owning them - Using internet and mobile technology to create a seamless consumer experience (&lt;1 minute booking time, minimal paperwork, 100% online, pay-per-hour options) - Modifying the Zipcar (US) model to Indian consumer's tastes and preferences - Primarily a B2C led model for weekend utilization and combination of B2B and B2C model for weekday utilization - Have recently launched 2 new verticals - Corporate Leasing &amp; Corporate Rentals to their list of services. Funding status: - Secured USD 1 Mn+ funding, from high net-worth individuals in the founders- personal network. Also securing bank funding - The company raised $ 9 Mn in Series A with equity funding led by Edelweiss Private Equity, and debt funding from financing and leasing partners such as Mahindra &amp; Mahindra Financial Services and LeasePlan India in Dec 2016 - Next funding (Series-B) is under finalisation. Role: VP-Marketing Key responsibilities: - Developing the overall brand and marketing strategy, including budgets etc., along with company founders, including: Brand positioning i.e. what does the brand stand for Key themes / messages in line with the brand positioning Choice of medium, messages across each medium, mode of communication etc. - Leading the planning and execution, across all marketing platforms e.g. Digital: selecting a portfolio of digital channels for brand promotion / advertisements, leading organic search, paid search, display, social media, content marketing, email marketing, affiliate networks, finalizing campaigns and content, assessing effectiveness and making real time changes etc. ATL: shortlisting locations / identifying arbitrage opportunities to ensure maximum ROI, finalizing content for display, coordinating and negotiating with printers etc. BTL: shortlisting locations, designing campaign, finalizing content, negotiating with vendors etc. - Assessing effectiveness of individual marketing channels / campaigns (ROI) and making real time changes, as needed - Coordinating with various vendors / contractors / agencies etc. to ensure execution, as per plans - Orchestrating PR / Media interactions / discussions - Initiating and managing - Marketing Tie Ups- and - Partnerships- Desired background: - MBA from top tier management institute - 8-14 years experience of working in B2C companies (preferably start-ups) - Good experience exposure, across all marketing channels i.e. digital, BTL, ATL - Good experience in product / services branding
