Location : Near Padra, Vadodara, Gujarat Reporting to : Managing Director Cost to Company : 18 to - 22 lakhs per annum Job Summary : The VP-Manufacturing and Operations will manage all aspects of the manufacturing and operations of the continuous chemical process plant. He will be accountable for leading the optimization of manufacturing scheduling and the execution of the demand and supply planning processes to meet and exceed customer requirements and business expectations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : - Responsible for overall safe, efficient, legal and economical operation of all production, warehouse, packing, bulk handling, laboratory and shipping/receiving activities at the factory. - Implement corporate policy on health and safety, environmental affairs and operations standards at the facility level to include all training, documentation, permits and records. - Ensure operations are compliant with all state, and local regulatory, safety, health, environmental and security programs. - Drive manufacturing performance to meet schedules that allow for superior customer satisfaction and high efficiency by establishing and executing operating plans. - Develop and enforce standard operating procedures for production and supporting operations. - Monitor quality standards, implement, and enforce quality control and tracking programs. - Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems. - Establish process metrics and develop a system to achieve and maintain performance to targets. - Develop capital budgets to maintain and enhance operating capabilities and meet new product offerings. - Oversee maintenance, upkeep and housekeeping of facility, buildings, and equipment. Required Skills : - Minimum 10 years of experience in managing continuous chemical process plants - Chemical Engineer from a reputed university - Excellent oral and written communication skills in English - The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in leading an organization that is actively engaged in a growth mode, including new product development, facility expansions and upgrades, as well as the planning, development and implementation of new facilities. - He must function as a true leader; hiring, developing, training and motivating an operations leadership team capable of carrying out needed operations and strategies, while also improving employee relations.
