Oversee and lead entire Life Asia Delivery (Analysis, development and production support).
Key Accountability (A collection of duties and/or responsibilities assigned)
- Delivery Performance - Products / Projects / New Initiatives and integrations with enterprise applications.
- Products / Projects delivered as per agreed schedule & scope. Delivery as a %age of Quality & Effort
- Lead the team for delivery of change requests on time and as per schedule
- Resourcing - Recruitment, Training; Internal Training sessions - Domain / Technical
- Effectiveness of Delivery - SIT / UAT / Production
- Number of bugs against each delivery
- BRS Review- Effectiveness of BRS against the actual requirement
- Provide sustainable production support
- IT Rework Effort / Total Effort; No of incidents resolved / actioned within the SLA
- Process Improvement & New Initiatives
- Automation of existing processes, wherever feasible & wherever required
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications (Framework required by the position)
- Graduate / Post Graduate with good COBOL background
- Very strong Life Insurance domain knowledge
- Knowledge of Life/Asia or Life/400
- B.SC or MCA or BE in computer science preferred
- Minimum 10 (15 preferred) years of experience with at least 5 years in Life Asia
