1. Role is for Vice president legal counsel.

2. 12-16 years experience, qualified lawyer and qualified company secretary (Both mandatory). LLB & CS. LLM will be plus.

3. Qualified Company Secretary from Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

4. Someone who will be able to support legal issue relating to business contract agreements, and governance issues.

5. Prior experience with a Re/Insurance and labour laws will be an advantage, licensed entity activities.

6. Prior experience in working with multinational company. Supporting in legal view with region

7. Role is for Bangalore Swiss Re service business, legal implications of the law.

8. Interact with business stakeholders, excellent communication skills, Act as the Company Secretary to the Board.

9. Played advisory role in their previous job and represented pervious company in the court.

10. Litigation experience, gone to the court of law, should have provided legal view to lawyer.

11. Will work with multiple stakeholder navigate the process.

Legal Affairs:

- Provide legal support on the Intra group service arrangements within Swiss Re

- Provide legal support relating to business activities of GBS including the relevant agreements, legal and governance matters

- Provide advice and direction on a variety of corporate legal matters.

- Drafting and vetting various types of contracts, agreements, petitions, legal notices and other legal documents.

- Advise Human Resources team on various employee related matters

- Advise Sourcing team on legal matters

- Managing litigation and coordination with various internal and external stakeholders including law firms.

- Liaise with advisers, such as lawyers and auditors.

- Support Compliance team in their activities.

Secretarial:

- Act as the Company Secretary to the Board

- Responsible for Company Law related compliances by the entity

- Handling all Governance related work and coordination with the regional team on internal governance requirements

- Coordination with cross functional teams and with Practicing Company Secretary to ensure compliance.
