V.P Legal and Regulatory  Regulatory Compliance & Operational Risk Management:  - Rendering compliance & regulatory advice, guidance, updates, alerts, regarding compliance matters on ongoing basis. Developing, implementing, administering and maintaining a best practice corporate compliance framework/ program / plan and ensure timely implementation / completion of the plan.   Legal Operations / Risk Management:  - Overseeing the implementation of effective processes and controls to manage operational risk within the firm. Ensuring legal compliances with applicable laws; implementing various policies & steering initiatives to mitigate legal and commercial risks  Internal Control / Operational Risk / Internal Audit / Anti-money Laundering:  - Advising on the applicable regulations on client identification process, anti-money laundering rules and client documentation.   Statutory Compliance:  - Ensuring compliance to the govt. rules & regulations as laid down by statutory authorities- viz Companies Act. Liaising with ROC, Ministry of Company Affair, Stock Exchanges, Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and other Government Regulatory Bodies  Secretarial Functions:  - Ensuring compliance as required under companies act involving issuance of notices, stock exchange related matters mergers/acquisitions, drafting agenda, recording minutes and preparing annual reports
