Vice President - Lean Center Team - Financial Services

Primary Responsibilities:

The candidate must be able to demonstrate skill at process improvement and problem solving across three key dimensions:

1) Problem structuring & quantification: ability to frame problems at a high level and perform financial analysis to model a business case for savings.

2) Influencing style and skills: ability to coach teams and individuals to deliver on Lean goals

3) Technical ability: analytical and quantitative skills, strong MS desktop tool depth (Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Sharepoint, etc.), ability to learn and leverage internal technology tools leveraged in Lean diagnostics.

4) Project Management - Prior experience in understanding process or requirements from SMEs, document and prepare as is flows and future flow. Create a value stream map and co-ordinate with the business, technology department and operations to define the functional design to support changes and implementation

5) Capital markets knowledge: In-depth understanding of capital markets and its functions

Skills Required:

- Proficient in MS-Excel, MS-Visio, MS-Word and MS-Powerpoint

- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks

- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Detail oriented and ability to adhere to strict timelines

- Self-confident/motivated in achieving results

- Understanding of the trade lifecycle and the various downstream user requirements of trade and financial data

- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with colleagues, departmental management, business units, personnel from other departments and banks.

- Desire to work in an environment strong in teamwork, commitment and excellence.

- Experience in implementing Lean or other process improvement methodology (Six Sigma, TQM, etc.) in IB Operations

- Knowledge of accounting and basic terminologies used in the financial services sector

- Knowledge of project management and change management principles
