Candidate should have total 12+ yrs. of experience in which At least 7-8 years' experience in IB/Corp KYC (Refresh & Onboarding can be considered)

- At least 8-9 year's experience in team handling and at least 3 yrs as Leader of LM's (preferably in KYC)

- Strong Experience in CDD (Customer Due Diligence), Global KYC, End to End KYC and Corp/IB KYC (onboarding) Global Corporate KYC.

- Strong stakeholder management and strong communication is required.

Key Accountabilities

- The role holder will be the Operations representative on the Corporate KYC Client Maintenance team, ensuring that all Operations deliverables are met.

- The role holder will change manage the planning and ramp up of the KYC Client Maintenance Operations teams

- The role holder will work across the organisation to ensure that KYC processes, controls and teams adapt effectively to reflect the evolving regulatory framework and compliance appetite around KYC due diligence

- The role holder will deliver operational excellence across the KYC Client Maintenance Operations team optimising performance, capacity, flexibility, controls and cost efficiency

- The role holder will work closely in partnership with other members of the KYC leadership team and senior stakeholders to help define the strategic roadmap for KYC Operations, crystallize this into a programme of business change, and then take accountability for driving this to successful delivery

- The role holder will champion the people agenda across KYC Operations - driving the embedding of the Organization Values, maintaining high levels of colleague engagement, and championing talent development and retention

- The role holder will proactively contribute and advise on the Strategic Global KYC Operating Model and join any appropriate change programme work streams for operations and roll out

- The role holder will create a partnership approach with key internal and external suppliers and outsourcers, including material and sustained improvements in performance and cost management

- The role holder's key internal clients include senior leaders in Corporate Banking Operations, Sales/Coverage, Financial Crime, Risk & Control, Compliance and Technology and his teams accountable to higher standards at all times

- Ensure effective allocation and utilisation of resources across the team in order to maximise effectiveness

- Motivate and coach the team towards achieving goals

- Formulate long term plans for the development of the team

- Conduct coaching sessions with the team focusing both on tasks and behavioural issues

- Create and maintain a culture of empowerment and professionalism within the team

- Keep the team informed of strategic developments within the business area

Person Specification

- The right candidate will have proven interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate, negotiate and influence across a range of levels across organisations and key clients and with external stakeholders

- The right candidate will have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, as well as strong stakeholder management experience across all levels of the business. They must contribute positively to the organisational culture by demonstrating integrity and client focus at all times, working closely with others in a high performance team and taking personal responsibility for development of the client experience

- The right candidate will demonstrate awareness of and adherence to all regulatory requirements, will follow best practice processes and procedures and will display professionalism at all times

- The successful candidate will be a self-starter, capable of working on their own initiative. They will be a strong negotiator with influencing skills, to ensure their team deliver an exceptional service

- The right candidate will be professional under pressure, capable of working in a challenging environment and able to prioritise and manage their own workload

- The successful candidate will be committed to pro-actively seek and develop client focused solutions to development priorities and will contribute positively to the organisational culture

Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:

- 12+ years' experience in an AML/Fin Crime or EDD role

- Strong communication skills, in particular for external communication with regulators and auditors

- The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, supplemented by a expertise in Global KYC and CDD

- Strong Leadership skills with an ability to manage teams to achieve common goal whilst managing differing grades across multiple sites. Excellent oral and written communication. Ability to coach and develop teams, collaborative approach and good stakeholder management, Target-oriented

- Ability to re-imagine and transform operations to keep up with the ever-changing KYC/AML landscape, through digitization and leveraging lean, RPA, automation to drive down operational costs, maximize value creation for clients, stakeholders and colleagues, while remaining compliant

- A strong control awareness, including an understanding of the key controls required in KYC Ops

- Outstanding leadership qualities and exceptional people management skills.
