Vice President - IT Development - Delivery - Banking Domain

Principal Responsibilities -

- Manage Systems delivery life cycle from Requirements Analysis to Implementation and ensure Project requirements are delivered on time, within budget meeting quality objectives.

- Create Project plans, Risk Register and all project artefacts required as per Internal Change Management Framework.

- Monitor and report Project health on Costs, Schedule, Quality parameters and using Internal tools.

- Produce effective progress reports for assigned projects to keep Stakeholders apprised of Status, Issues and Risks, Scope changes, Resource changes, Milestones achieved.

- Drive Project working Group and Project Steering Committee meetings with Project members and other key Stakeholders including Project Sponsor.

- Support delivery of Scalable and Sustainable Systems by ensuring non-functional requirements like Capacity and Performance, Security, Alerting and Monitoring are addressed as part of design and development and in compliance to Technical Architecture guidelines.

- Abide by the IT Cost Management Governance for External vendor spends.

- Ensure compliance to Outsourcing, Third Party Management and other Internal Standards for delivery and hosting of new IT Services.

- Partner with Businesses, Compliance, Transformation and other Internal teams for Projects and Solutions.

- Build and manage relationships with Internal Stakeholders within various Business /Functions, Group IT including Architecture

- Work with External Vendors, Fintech partners, Cloud Providers and Internal IT teams for evaluation and delivery of Tech solutions.

Qualifications - External

- Graduate / Postgraduate preferably with certifications like PMP, PMI-ACP.

- 15+ years of IT experience and at least 5 years in managing delivery and support of IT systems within banking domain. Experience in Regulatory projects for banking would be an added advantage.

- Technical Experience and knowhow of application development on Linux/Windows, Oracle/SQL/DB2, Tomcat/WAS and using Java/.Net technologies.

- Familiar with tools used in Agile/Dev Ops for Development, Testing, Build, Configuration and Release Management.

- Project management experience and proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives.

- Ability to work individually and get deliveries done with Vendors, Internal IT teams having no direct reporting

- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

- Analytical, Problem -Solving skills and ability to simplify complex asks

- Self-Driven team player with ability to work in Large, Global organisation.
