Our client is a Bank and the role is based at Head office in Mumbai

Objectives of this role:

- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation

- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation and governance

- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget

- Analyse project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met with proper approvals

- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders

- Hold meeting with management and other project stake holders to provide information on project status and changes

- Manage all regulatory requirements and compliance with any audit observations

Responsibilities:

- Take required approval for planned projects

- Estimate resource efforts for all the projects and align projects

- Review resource allocation and efforts estimated and update the progress to IT Head

- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks

- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors to meet project timelines

- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables

- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan

- Management updates as required

- Manage project Go-live based on organizations process and controls

- Review of internal controls and procedures and guide for improvement of IT governance

Required skills and qualifications:

- 8-10 years of project management experience

- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines

- Proven success working with all levels of management

- Should have experience in Banking or should have worked to develop banking products

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Excellent presentation skills

Preferred skills and qualifications:

- Computer Engineer / MBA

- Professional certification such as PMP

- Experience in developing platforms for internal processes
