Vice President - Intercompany Accounting - Financial Institution

Our client is a leading Global Financial Institution engaged in personal banking, credit cards, corporate and investment banking, and wealth management with an extensive presence in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia.

Actively seeking an experienced Vice President to oversee Intercompany Accounting and General Ledger operations.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Monitor the intercompany breaks and ensure they are resolved on a timely basis

- Manage different sub processes and collaborate with people across different geographical locations.

- Manage the team's capabilities around process efficiencies, how they can best identify and execute changes needed.

- Proactively manage communication channels with senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Qualified Accountant - CA, CPA, ACCA OR MBA (Finance) with 12+ years of experience.

- A proven track record of managing global processes like Intercompany Reconciliations, General Ledger, Balance Sheet Management, Allocations, Settlements, and Investment Accounting.

- Strong communication, people management and influencing skills required to be successful in this role

- Strong inter-personal skills and evidence of working across teams and geographies to produce timely and accurate output
