Job Description:
- Develop proactive measures to maintain a healthy environment in the plant.
- Maintaining good rapport with MP, MLA & Local Political Leader for smooth functioning of Plant.
- Settlement of CDs and signing of LTA.
- Ensure timely addressal of employee questions and concerns and manage all emerging ER issues
- Review calendar of community engagement activities to maintain strong community relations.
- Monitor implementation of activities which are conducted by shop floor people.
- Drive employee involvement and welfare
- Obtaining all clearances & Licences under various acts & rules / authorities for setting up / running the project & factory viz. MOEF Clearance, Consent to Establish / Operate from Labour Directorate, Commissioner for Workmen's Compensation, Factory Directorate, Chief / Jt. Chief Controller of Explosive, District Administration, District Industry Centre, Land Dept. & Local authorities viz. Panchayat, Municipality etc.
- Maintain liaison with govt. & statutory authorities.
- Monitor and ensure compliances with respect to all applicable labour legislation.
- Keep updated on latest amendments and changes and evaluate new compliance requirements as required.
- Responsible for overall administration, maintenance & upkeepment
- Define & propose plant related work policies in line with organizational positioning /industry best practices in response to emerging needs
- Review and monitor timely implementation of HR policies at plant
- Integrate feedback from employees on effectiveness of work policies and propose changes to current policies
- Monitor Operational HR activities like employee database, files, Time Office, HR inputs to Finance for salary processing, processing of medical insurance claims, interface with TPA, exit formalities
- Taking initiative for various change management activities ISO, OSHAS, TPM, TS 16949, CRISP, PRIDE, CDE, FIRE etc.
- Participate in scoping of OD interventions/OD programs/Induction / management development programs along with workforce capability building/workforce training for factory managerial workforce
- Define scope and plan for the new hire induction program at the plant and implement the same.
- Collate and analyze technical training needs through discussion with Factory Manager, Production Manager and Maintenance Manager.
- Provide Performance review inputs and future plans for the plant
- Develop and implement technical capability building and statutory training programs at factory
- Identify relevant training vendors including external programs and faculty
- Ensuring implementation of development action plan of employees.
- Implementation and drive the PMS process starting from Performance Goal setting, Performance Review, Performance Feedback, Coaching : Motivating for Improved Performance, Performance Reward.
Functional Role: Human Resource and Industrial/Labor Relations Manager
Candidate Requirement:
- We are Looking for a candidate from Multinational Manufacturing units (at Bengal only) with minimum of 15 years of hands on Experience in dealing with IR and Modern HR related matters out of which last 3 Years as head of the Plant HR & IR issues.
- Must be in the age bracket of 40 to 45 Years (Maximum) with Pleasing personality and excellent communication skills. Must posses last 5 years Working experience at Bengal.
Eligibility - MBA from Premier Institute with LLB. Must Posses Sound KNowledge in HR /IR activities ie Labour legislations, Union handling, Compliances, Hiring, OD, Organisational Climate Surveys, PMS, Training & Development to name a few.
