Looking for a Vice President- HRD for an FMCG Client in Mumbai
Job Purpose: To head the HR function in the Unit, and to formulate Employee Relations & Human Resources strategy for the Company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee all the HR activities, initiatives and systems.
- Responsible for Organization Behavior, Training & Development, Performance Management Systems & Talent Acquisition.
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership to understand the Company's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Plan, lead, develops coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the Company's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Identify staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Conduct research and analysis of Company's trends including review of reports and metrics from the Company's human resource information system (HRIS) or talent management system.
- Monitor and ensure the Company's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
- Develop and implement Departmental budget.
- Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for the HR Team.
Skills required:
- Proven experience of Senior HR role
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt to the needs of the Company and employees.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate Degree in Human Resource Management, preferably from Premier Management Institutes like XLRI /TISS/ IIM/Narsee Monjee etc.
Experience Required:
- 15 -20 years in large sized FMCG / FMCD Companies would be preferred.
