Responsibilities:

- The Vice President- B2C Business is responsible for developing and driving the short term and long-term strategy for the B2C line of business.

- He/She owns the P&L responsibility for this line of business. This includes business strategy, product strategy, operations strategy, revenue/budget management.

- In addition to meeting revenue goals, he/she also needs to achieve the long-term strategic goals like penetration, market share, acquired / activated users and managing life time value of a user.

- The person should act as a strategic interface between sales, marketing, IT and Product, He/She will be responsible for charting and driving the roadmap for this LoB in line with the company's overall strategy.

- Collaborate with business to Develop, Design and Deploy end to end B2C product solution- architecture, user experience, functionalities, issue prevention tools, user education tools, etc.

- Interface between the Technology and Product teams to ensure delivery of front-end customer facing application.

- Strike partnership with various partners to provide additional revenue stream.

- Build the monthly sales plan for each team with their respective managers and monitor and deliver it.

- Coach and develop sales managers to ensure professional growth and success in managing their teams.

- Manage and grow a sales team of both managers and executives and grow the team to execute on clients- ambitious sales targets.

- Own the lead conversion funnel with Marketing and optimize to deliver sales through the appropriate channels.

Requirement:

- Extensive demonstrated success leading multi-channel B2C sales functions in insurance industry (15+ years of experience).

- Hands-on and able to get into the detail to maximize sales output.

- Analytically minded, comfortable working with data to build sales plans.

- Experience of quickly scaling a sales function in a start-up would be a distinct advantage.

- Ability to lead multiple teams across multiple geographies.

- Comfortable working in a start-up environment that moves quickly and must juggle multiple priorities.
