Vice President - Digital Marketing Head (from E-commerce and internet companies)
Responsibilities :
- The Digital Marketing team is responsible for driving world-class online marketing and search engine activities across our portfolio of global sites in various languages.
- As a company whose business is providing services to retail customers around the world through our websites, the team is in-charge of delivering high quality, intuitive websites that keep users engaged, help them find what they want
- Lead a team of web and graphics professionals to manage at least 6 international language websites and get them to fulfill business goals and support a team of SEO and SEM experts in achieving traffic goals
- Interact with marketing managers around the world and translate business and brand goals into compelling digital experiences
- Design creative websites and webpages, wireframes, mock ups, layouts, style guides with a focus on providing excellent user experience by staying abreast of new technology, media owners and networks within the digital landscape
- Constantly focus on page optimization to reduce bounce /exit rates and improve submit rates
- Manage multiple projects, schedules and maintain budgets effectively
- Creating the Digital marketing offerings that resonate with customers
- Building the Digital marketing Strategy
- Ensuring financial discipline of the operations and high utilization
- Be a hands-on leader that can lead engagements around new offerings created
- Provide insightful recommendations and thought leadership on Digital marketing initiatives based on prior experience, industry trends and analytics
- Evangelize Digital marketing and act as a customer champion.
- Support and work with the Business Development team to create and pursue new business opportunities.
- Work collaboratively across organizations to help secure commitment for cross-company efforts
Desired Skills and Experience :
- Minimum 10-15 years post-MBA experience from E-commerce and internet companies. Leadership Experience in Digital marketing Strategy
- Demonstrable team leadership skills in a team setting
- Ability to make an immediate impact
- Superior analytical and financial modeling skills, with ability to succinctly interpret data for executives
- Superior communication (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills
- High-energy and high ethics individual motivated to work hard in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous design experience in an agency environment is a plus
- Strong understanding of UX and UI concepts and attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Dreamweaver and Photoshop
- Expert knowledge of responsive designs and ability to deliver a unified experience across all platforms
- Good understanding of information architecture, usability and user interface
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions
