Key responsibility of this role is to lead, scale and manage the AMS practice. This translates to the responsibilities as follows- A) Defining Strategy for taking the Practice to a Leadership position globally: The AMS practice has been a fast growing practice and has seen a growth of over 20% in the last year. Being a very horizontal and commoditized service, there is a continuous need to evaluate the competitive positioning and our readiness to lead and create differentiators. B) Identifying the right organization and people to drive the strategy globally: AMS operates in all territories globally USA, Europe &amp; Africa. It has 5 Sub-Practices - Application Support &amp; Maintenance (ASM), Application Development &amp; Integration (ADI), Enterprise Architecture (EA), Cloud &amp; PEGA.. This role is responsible for driving all the sub practices including upcoming components of ADI sub practices such as Agile, DevOps, Micro services &amp; API driven execution. C) Creating successful practices to drive new business: The practice also carries the responsibility of creating and delivering new delivery and engagement models like SCRUM BAN, Agile in every walk of life, shared services, managed services and consumption based / outcome based commercial models. D) Helping build domain &amp; tool centric service offerings: The AMS practice has both the responsibility and opportunity to create truly verticalized services to support Vertical strategy. The position needs to lead the other practice &amp; COE teams in building these vertical industry specific solutions through re-usable assets and components involved in transition, service offering, technology agnostic enterprise architecture appropriate for BFSI, manufacturing &amp; retail vertical through enterprise architecture. The other key expectation is to build automation and tool centric approach for service delivery, enterprise application monitoring, application portfolio rationalization, self-learning &amp; self healing application management system, rule extraction, modernization tools etc. E) To play a key role in demand generation. This role is responsible for driving growth in both existing and new customer accounts as well as managing the operational excellence parameters of Utilization, bench cost, resource retention and fresher deployment. F) To play a leadership role in leveraging non-engineering talent. This practice has the opportunity to recruit and engage non-engineering talent in some of the mundane monitoring &amp; support areas.
