About the vertical

Within the organization, this vertical works exclusively with governments and India's public-school system. It aims to strengthen public education at scale and make high-quality learning accessible to students from marginalized socioeconomic backgrounds. Through partnerships with Central and State Governments, philanthropic foundations, multilateral agencies, and corporate funders, this vertical has done pioneering work on large-scale assessments and EdTech. Over the past two decades, the organization has undertaken 80+ projects with 50+ government and civil society partners (16+ languages, 40+ detailed studies published) across geographies, socio-linguistic backgrounds in India and abroad, for more than 10 million students across different grades.

Job Title: Vice President, Growth & Partnership

Position Summary

This vertical's funding has benefited from funding across government, Grantmakers, multilaterals, corporates and HNIs. This role will grow the network of funders achieving significant growth in the number of students they are able to reach out to. The role will also play an important role in deepened engagement with priority existing funders, through a more proactive engagement strategy.

The organization is looking for a candidate who is passionate to join their exponential growth journey. This is a high-energy role and a great opportunity for those who enjoy working in a start-up environment and care deeply about building India's education system.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about accelerating access to education equity in government schools of India. She will have prior experience in B2B Sales, Partnership management, leading, coordinating and managing multiple high stakes and high-profile relationships. She should also be able to lead and inspire the team to remain focused on goals and impact while being a hands-on leader.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue (Funds) growth & partnerships

- Design programs and raise funds to achieve high growth targets. Identify the right partnership eco system of Corporates, Implementation Partners (NGOs and others), Funding agencies/ foundations, HNIs and governments create programs to reach maximum number of students (target 10 million). Expected CAGR around 60-70% in the next 4 years (Target US $ 100 Million, FY28 6X growth). Take fund raising global/ international and tap alternative sources.

- Drive existing relationships and partnerships for renewal, upsell, cross-sell by ensuring transparent program reports, impact, SLAs, and achievements.

- Defining metrics and formats for project monitoring and impact reporting across different channels

- Ensure 100% compliance as required for all projects and donors.

- Travel with key stakeholders of projects to show case progress.

Communications (in collaboration with Marketing)

- Position and build the brand as the thought leader in the education and/ or education impact stage.

- Create material/events (including papers/presentations/interviews/seminars, etc.) and build significant social media presence highlighting the organization and its achievements.

- Represent the organization in external and internal events.

- Think creative ways of building awareness about the organization and its work.

Internal Collaboration

- Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, HR, and other teams to represent customers and users view. Also, build appropriate reports and dashboards for customer requirements.

Team Management

- Build, manage, and engage a small talented team.
