Role : Vice President - Group Treasury


Qualified Charted Accountant.

- Be responsible for conducting assessments on the quality and effectiveness of the finance control framework; ensure proper risk management and governance.

- Commensurate with the scale and complexity of the finance operations. Group Treasury's Balance Sheet management (BSM) team reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for managing the Group's capital, funding and liquidity positions.

Role & Responsibilities:

- You will be responsible for taking on elements of the Group's funding and capital projections process which are performed in TM1, as well as other analysis and processes related to the Group's capital and funding strategy and peer analysis.

- As a Vice President you will be supported by a team of managers and executives and you will have some leadership responsibilities for the team including

- Reviewing Funded Balanced Sheet and related disclosures.

- Developing a detailed knowledge of the concepts and processes underlying the team's work.

- Developing of relationships with key members of Group Treasury, Finance and business unit finance teams.

Backgroup and Skill set Requirement:

Technical skills and business knowledge:

- Outstanding academic background in a financial or quantitative degree e.g acturial,economics, accounting, mathematics, engineering

- 10-14 years relevant experience. Experience in Balance Sheet Management or Treasury will be an advantage, in particular any experience related to :

- Treasury balance sheet reporting.

- Capital and Funding Projections

- Liquidity and Funds transfer pricing

- Interest rate and FX reporting, policy and management.

- Peer Bank Analysis.

- Regulatory capital framework.

-Sound knowledge of the Financial/ Banking serview industry, products & Shared Services operation models.

1. Treasury & Banking:

i. Ensure the following on a monthly and quarterly basis:

a. Monthly cash flows estimation

b. Bank reconciliation

ii. Establish cordial relationships with banks / financial institutions and manage long term fund requirements

iii. Update self and team members on foreign currency loans / other avenues on raising capital in foreign currency

iv. Manage various credit approvals and channel financing arrangements required from time to time.

v. Oversee the smooth transfer of funds to and surplus funds from locations

2. Accounts Receivables:

i. Monitor the issuance of credit / debit notes against Trade Incentive Schemes.

ii. Review the applicable Office Orders on schemes and manage accruals.

iii. Manage export accounting including export turnover estimation, expenses and profitability.

iv. Oversee the process of timely follow-ups of cheque dishonor and overdues.

v. Ensure gross margin protection and manage approval of price build-ups

vi. Validation and clearance of special price build-ups / sales orders
