Our Client a Global provider of enterprise software support products and services and the leading third-party support provider for Oracle and SAP software products is actively seeking a Vice President, Global Service Delivery, Operations. Position Summary The Vice President, Global Service Delivery, Operations will operate as chief of staff and business partner to the SVP of Global Service Delivery driving the Global Service Delivery organization business plan and objectives Responsibility: 1) The overall productivity and effectiveness of the service delivery organization; 2) Driving metrics and process to ensure that the organization delivers with quality operates efficiently and is scalable 3) Global Service Delivery partner and vendor strategy and program management; and 4) Client satisfaction; 5) Employee satisfaction: 6) Drive cross-organization projects that impact Global Service Delivery. - The successful candidate will be a hands-on, roll-up your sleeves individual that has a very strong work ethic, is well organized, analytically skilled, a strategic thinker, strong leader, detailed oriented and quality minded. - As a part of the Global Service Delivery senior management team, you will be involved in all business issues, strategies, planning and reporting relating to the Global Service Delivery organization including budgets, delivery plans &amp; processes, Client satisfaction, systems, execution excellence, employee retention and rewards, strategic planning for new products and services, recruiting and hiring and training, etc. - The role will focus on the structural design of global support on a world-wide basis to achieve maximum responsiveness within all SLA's, maximum gross margin profit, and excellent client satisfaction. Further, - The role will ensure operational excellence, driving consistent process and procedures, and fulfill the vision of the global product delivery organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring that global product delivery is fully transitioned to an agile methodology. - As the voice of the Global Service Delivery organization you will manage cross-departmental needs including acting as the liaison between Sales and Marketing, On Boarding, IT, Global Client Engagement, Human Resources, Finance, and Legal departments, and ensure alignment &amp; integration, manage deliverable's and facilitate effective communications. Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities ; As a hands-on manager and through the leadership of one or more director level team members, duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following: - Acts as chief of staff and partner with SVP of Global Service Delivery providing leadership to the service delivery organization and implementation and executing on service delivery organization's objectives. - Lead the effort, with senior management, to define, evolve, and innovate the Clients global service delivery strategy. - In addition to direct responsibilities outlined below, assists SVP Global Service Delivery with other operational tasks, ad-hoc requests, and projects as needed. - Designs implements and manages service delivery organization's business plan, execution strategy, and budget. - Drive process, procedure, and systems scalability and consistency across all Service Delivery organizations included but not limited to Organizational Structures - Deployment Strategies, - Resource Planning - Interaction Models (India Labs, Global Client Engagement, Sales, Marketing, etc.) - Geographic Models - Support and Development Processes - Training - Career Planning - Case &amp; Performance Monitoring (KPIs) and Reporting - Systems and Tools - Implementation of "best practices" across an organization - Innovate and execute service delivery performance management &amp; reporting providing visibility and timely and accurate reporting of service delivery metrics to service delivery leadership, finance and Our Client's senior management team. - Ensures service delivery organization readiness and effectiveness leading service delivery training and development initiatives and events; development &amp; deployment of service delivery enablement tools, programs and systems; and establishing and administering effective service delivery policies and procedures. - Lead service delivery operations organization including operations, reporting, systems and tools, project management, etc. - Develop and prepare key service delivery reporting packages including a weekly update, monthly operation review presentation and quarterly meeting updates. - Lead cross-organizational efforts to drive Our Client's vision and strategy. - Facilitate the transition of the entire organization to become a "proactive" versus "reactive" team. - Provide process and procedure to ensure the organization continues to deliver "world class" support and deliverables. Education: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration from an accredited university or college. A master's degree is preferred. Experience &amp; Skills - Minimum 18+ years of service delivery operations and service delivery management experience in the software industry. - Extensive knowledge of software support and development strategies, tools, technologies, processes. - Both broad and deep experience creating and implementing new processes, or improving existing processes that drive operational efficiencies in the software support and development areas. - Demonstrated and detailed understanding of financial planning and budget management, support and development processes, operational reporting. - Start-up and rapidly expanding service delivery organization experience strongly preferred. - Self-confident with ability to work with and influence senior management. - Ability to build and maintain strong relationships, gaining trust and confidence as a strategic partner from all levels within the organization - Very strong work ethic and team player with a positive "Do what it takes" attitude. - Strong problem solving, organizational and collaboration skills. - Outstanding analytical skills and strong ability to interpret and present key findings and recommendations. - Excellent written, oral and presentation skills. - Strong proficiency in MS Office products with particularly strong Excel capabilities. - Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25% annually, as needed to lead various initiatives impacting Service Delivery Operations, across the globe.
