Opening for GRS-VP with an investment Banking Captive, Chennai

- The candidate should have experience in investment strategy classifications, risk production, and performance & Analysis.

- Interact with clients to resolve inquiries related to all aspects of institutional clients - for a range of advanced risk services within Global Risk Solutions, including asset allocation, attribution, risk and other investment analysis.

- Thoroughly understand complex and highly specialized investment functions and strategies and portfolio management, including the use of advanced risk methodologies, portfolio performance & risk analysis and asset universe analysis.

- Expertise on alternative investment including Hedge funds, Fund of Funds entailing Hedge funds strategies, currency overlays, derivatives, tactical asset allocation and how these strategies impact the risk/return dynamics of a client's portfolio.

- Strong quantitative skills required, including significant knowledge of statistics(portfolio analytics including risk and performance ratios, benchmarking and peer analysis) advanced risk calculation methodologies (VAR at various decay level, risk attribution, stress testing, and scenario analysis) and investment strategies and methodologies (multi manager, multi asset hedge fund strategies, private equity and real estate) .

- Ability to utilize Database queries (SQL, DB) to analyze large data sets for quality assurance and insights into macro investment trends in the existing asset universe.-

- Strong technical skills on advanced excel and SQL, ability to write queries and procedures to extract data as well as the management and mining of databases, data feeds, etc.

- 10-12 years of total work experience which includes multiple team management, strong multiple stakeholder management, responsible for multi-functional deliveries, direct client facing experience and Investment banking domain especially into Hedge Funds, Alternative Investments and Risk Management etc.

- Experience in financial services preferred with MBA or Post Graduation must.
