Role : VP Forex Settlement
CTC : 75 LPA + Benefits
- Experience of at least 22 years in the front office and back office of the treasury in Foreign Exchange area preferably in a bank.
Skill, Knowledge & Trainings Technical :
- Full knowledge of all Forex instruments (including Forex derivatives), operations and accounting, regulations, etc.
- Should understand the Forex retail/corporate concept, and be able to take independent charge of the development of retail platform.
Behavioural & Leadership :
- Leadership skills, Team building and Team working
- User interactions management at senior level
- Good communication skills, Strong leadership skills
- Ability to think independently, conceptualize new products and steer the development of the products. Should be able to design new systems and give software requirements for development
- A fair understanding of technology and should be lead testing efforts for implementation of new products
- A team-player, able to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to priorities, work independently and exercise good judgment
- Proactive and solutions oriented, able to think outside the box and make connections through lateral-thinking.
Job Purpose :
- The incumbent will have primary responsibility for managing a team of about 20 employees, leading all operations and developments in the area of Forex.
Key Responsibility :
- Coordinate and manage all operations for clearing and settlement of Forex (USD-INR Settlement, Forex Forward and CLS)
- Coordinate and control all operations for Trading Platforms (FX-Clear, FX-Retail and FX- Swap),
- Manage the Sales & Marketing of Forex platforms (including FX-Retail) and other forex products in the department.
- Develop capabilities to handle clearing and settlement of new instruments
- Interact with the Regulators for necessary approvals and for reporting
- Interact with member banks and respond to all queries
- Handle documentation and correspondence
- Build/maintain relationships with members, regulators, etc.
- Coordinate with other departments where necessary
- Interaction with senior executives/Directors of the Board etc. in a formal environment
