VP - Financial Reporting Systems for One of the leading Banking and financial service Industry for Gurgaon Location.
Job Description :
Role Purpose :
- Lead delivery of a broad and complex Finance Systems Operations, continually re-balancing resources to ensure on time and quality delivery of business benefits.
- Drive standardization and simplicity of technical design across new and existing applications, developing and implementing Global Finance Application Suite strategic technical guidance and obtaining global agreement on policies, principles, best practice and core standards by collaborating with CTB Teams.
- Work with Key Business / Finance Stakeholders to actively manage RTB Operation and contribute to Data design, governance and remediation across all Global Finance projects, not just those in the scope of technical solution delivery for this role.
- Define and deliver against a Target Operating Model roadmap for the team and its activities, with particular focus on increasing leverage and building capability, without losing connectivity and responsiveness to customer needs.

- No significant defects identified in Operations and ensure timely delivery of tasks

Leadership & Teamwork :
- Leading and representing FSO by example, providing direction, mobilizing commitment, managing human capital
- Leads a direct team of senior and junior specialist developers, secures additional resources when needed, and leverage team member competencies to promote best practice and enforcement of standardised best practice in design and delivery of solutions, reusing existing assets wherever possible

- Working well with staff from other departments and within GFA
- Confident planning and leading workshops with senior stakeholders
- Effective and clear management of evolution of the team towards Target Operating Model

Technical Skills and Experience Requirements :
- Data design and governance
- Finance reporting and MI business requirements, especially Management Information
- Highly commercial and able to quickly re-plan / reprioritise
- Previous Experience in a Banking or Finance related environment preferred
- Reporting front end solutions e.g. BI Portal
- Senior stakeholder management, up to GCB2
- Senior team leadership, including team development and Target Operating Model planning
- Strategic thought leadership
- Technical application build design standards
- Saracen / TM1 / MI Reporting Systems / GL Applications
- Very strong delivery record of technical solution project management and delivery
- Working with senior external providers and stakeholders across multiple global locations
- Completed 24 months in the existing position with prior exposure to MI or Financial Reporting Systems
Educational Requirements :
- Post Graduate with good honour's degree
- ACA or other accounting qualification desirable
- PRINCE2 or other project management certification desirable
- No particular qualifications are required for this role, but qualifications relevant to the above will be an advantage
