Vice President - Financial Operations & Risk Management - Investment Bank

- Cultivate strong risk culture by creating risk awareness at all levels

- Understand and assist in implementing firm-wide policies and guidelines (such as ORM policies) to Finance

- Formulate & implement policies and procedures within Finance to govern risks

- Establish best practices which are comparable to industry standards

- Build and maintain a strong ongoing relationship with key stakeholders and partners to understand current day-to-day control related challenges

- Issue management, including monitoring of operational risk events, assisting and challenging the root cause analysis to determine the required mitigating actions

- Oversight over risk and control self-assessment (RCSA) process

- Conduct targeted risk assessment including for new projects/initiatives and change management with a view to pre-assess risks

- Assess current key risk indicators (KRIs) and implement changes where more targeted monitoring are required

- Monitor mitigating actions (OR events, RCSA, audit) through to completion

- Design and report risk profile summaries for Senior Management

- Assess possibilities of new technologies and robotics to streamline and improve risk and control monitoring

- Promote sharing of best practices across Finance (within India and globally)

- Coordination with other control functions to strengthen overall internal control
