Overall purpose of role:-

The role is for a Business Analyst to work within the Group Finance Change Team supporting the firms Local Regulatory Reporting Programme.

Essential:

Qualified Accountant - CA, CPA, ACCA

Strong academic background - 1st /2nd class honours, minimum bachelor degree from a reputable institution

Preferred:

Qualified Accountant from big 4 firms & Experience of having employed in IB environment

Essential:

1. Strong control mindset.

2. Strong stakeholder engagement skills and understanding their requirements for effective execution

3. Ability to lead teams and motivate staff

4. Enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, proactive and a team player.

5. Good IT System skills;

6. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator. Desire to provide top quality service to internal stakeholders from different areas of the firm /geographies

7. Willingness and ability to take ownership of issues and manage through to a successful resolution.

8. Eye for detail and exception track record in managing and resolving conflict situations

9. Ability to negotiate and influence senior management across the businesses

10. Ability to build strong partnerships across the business with excellent stakeholder management

11. Strong IFRS knowledge and its implications

12. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with ability to think outside the box.

13. Strong knowledge of financial statement disclosure
