- Ensure team is adequately skilled on the various facets of application and its functionalities that may require techno-functional expertise and involve setting up entities and enabling finance systems.  - Ensure the application support issues raised are addressed in a time bound manner and to the satisfaction of the customers keeping in mind the finance systems standards defined by the Group Finance Systems.  - Ensure system performance is adequately managed by periodically reviewing and suggesting system change/improvements to the technology partners  - Ability and lead the Finance systems Projects  - Define metrics/measurement standards for performance measurement/management and rewards.  - Work closely with the Product management team in planning the production releases, application patches and application upgrades thereby ensuring that country is not adversely impacted on account of system-outage.  - Work closely with the product management team in ensuring the systems design/development are understood by the team members and facilitate training platforms for skilling them up on new developments.  - Release team members or participate in the various group finance systems initiatives providing application knowledge and thought leadership of the various applications supported.  - Continually review all assigned processes in order to identify opportunities for quality and process design improvement on Finance systems (especially Finance Systems Management/PeopleSoft Financials)  - Ensuring that continuous efficiency improvement culture is embedded within the function and an established process exists to constantly identify and implement improvement opportunities.  - Monitoring to ensure that the standards of customer service provided by the function consistently meet or exceed the requirements set under the Service Level Agreements (SLA) agreed with the customers, identifying and implementing innovative opportunities to add value to the deliverables set under the SLA   - Liaising with customers on the periodic review and re-negotiation of Service Level Agreements and any other related performance.   - Working with the other function managers to ensure proper running of the center and support for the Head, Center in ensuring a high level of support and service for the countries/businesses served.  - Managing the team leaders and analysts and exercising the human resource skills and techniques necessary to attract, retain and develop key finance professionals in these roles.   - Stand-in for the head of FSM in his absence or when otherwise delegated.  - Upholding the values of the Group and Company at all times.  - Ensuring compliance with all applicable Rules/ Regulations and Company and Group Policies.  - Ensuring compliance with Group Anti Money Laundering Prevention Policy and Procedures to the extent applicable and reporting all suspicious Transactions to the Line Manager.   Section B  - Domain Knowledge - Demonstrate sound Project Management Skills  - Domain Knowledge - Comprehensive knowledge on finance systems functionality with an ability to suggest improvements / enhancements.
