VP Finance - Chartered Accountant|Startup| Bangalore

- Single point responsibility for handling all finance, statutory and regulatory related activities in the company.

- Compliance Management

- Responsibility of scouting for acquisitions in unorganized sector

Job Responsibilities w.r.t Finance Operations:

Financial reporting:

a) Create regular monthly MIS capturing all important financial metrics

b) Create monthly P&L, Cash Flow statements

- Financial operations: Supervise and provide oversight to all finance operations across AP (Accounts payable), AR (Accounts receivable) and payroll. Streamline finance operations.

- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable tax and company laws.

- Tax planning and advisory: Undertake efficient tax and advise management on tax-related matters.

- Audits : Drive to closure all audit engagements - statutory, internal and tax audits

- Handling of statutory, tax, transfer pricing audit & due diligence

- Budgeting and variance analysis & Monthly books closure and MIS

- Consolidation of financial statements under Indian GAAP.

- Fiscal compliance under various acts.

- GST and other Indirect taxes

- Implement ERP finance

Must have attributes:

- CA with greater than 5 years of experience

- Experience in start ups is a +ve

- Interest in beyond finance and business operations is a +ve

- Experience with creating financial statements

- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.

- Ability to understand business goals and ability to align financial functions and controls to enable achievement of those objectives.
