The role is of a VP Finance at a funded Pharma/Biosciences company - Bangalore. The incumbent will be part of the leadership team to support and contribute to that growth. He/she will be required to proactively devise sustainable strategic interventions, lead the entire Finance & Accounts function, navigate the emerging new norm with appropriate financial stabilization through raising the required bank debt funds and efficient CAPEX management, etc. Job Description of VP Finance - Be an effective organizational leader and a key member of senior management. Facilitate the delivery of sustainable value creation and preservation. - Provide financial decision support to Senior management team across all initiatives (growth &amp; improvement) and routine operation - Lead budgeting, forecast and monitoring process to align with the organisations vision - Drive initiatives to enhance financial performance, cash flow, working capital and cost reduction initiatives as needed - Raise and manage funds; Build relations with investors, banks, NBFCs, financial institutions for funds - Balance the responsibilities of stewardship with business partnership - Create and maintain sustainable value for stakeholders (maximum revenue, minimum costs, maximum economic value and sustainability). - Be a driver of performance by participating in strategy development and validation, implementation and evaluation - Primary custodian of good governance, conformance and risk management with internal control that supports the organization. - Ensure that F&amp;A function is adaptive be being more dynamic and responsive to planning and performance management requirements to navigate the uncertainties of the rapidly changing business environment that affects the key business drivers. Qualification &amp; Experience - MBA in Finance from a premium institution or qualified CA with 10-15 years of leadership experience in Financial Control role with dynamically growing organizations. - Experience in Debt management, Capex management and Internal controls is desirable - Exposure to fundraising and investor relations management will be a plus - Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with demonstrable hands-on experience in some significant initiatives &nbsp; - Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management - Solid financial accounting skills and thorough knowledge of financial processes, reporting and analysis - Able to perform accurately and professionally under pressure and operate in a fast-paced environment, motivating and guiding the team to deliver results Must possess: - Strategic leadership - Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills - Navigating ambiguity, decision making and problem solving - Business acumen with commercial and financial astute - Professional integrity and accountability Desirable to have - Multi perspective thinking - Excellent communication skills - Resilience and emotional regulation - Cognitive flexibility - Entrepreneurial mind-set
