Vice President - Finance - Mining Firm

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to perform effective risk management and plan the organizations' financial strategy. The candidate must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations and fundraising. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all related departments of the organization will be under their command. The goal is to protect the companys revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

- Drive the companys financial planning

- Fund Raising from Financial Institutions for the company's capital expenditure plans.

- Risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments

- Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks

- Control and evaluate the organizations fundraising plans and capital structure

- Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations

- Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.

- Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.

- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization, including tax compliance.

- Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, the introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.

- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.

- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company

- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

- Manage a team of financial controllers and financial analysts.
