VP Finance

A VP - Finance is responsible for ensuring financial and regulatory compliance of the organization. Participate and lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) creation and monitor and report variances. Stay on top of changes to local, central, and US laws and make appropriate changes. Lead a team of lower-level executives and coordinate with external vendors, legal entities, government entities, and other teams to ensure smooth operations.

Operations :

- Engage in preparation of the annual operating plan, monitoring variances, and undertaking control measures.

- Monitor monthly operating results against the budget. Improve forecasting.

- Track and report key metrics.

- Provide project financial control oversight.

- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business processes and enable operational efficiency through systems, technology, automation etc.

- Responsible to initiate cost optimization opportunities.

- Work closely with HR to optimally structure compensation from a tax perspective with any future changes in-laws

Financial/Regulatory compliance :

- Strong understanding of revenue recognition rules, Ind-AS, transfer pricing, IFRS

- Familiar with US GAAP

- Comply with local shops and establishments regulations

- Responsible for all tax related filings such as IT, GST, PT, RoC and others

- Responsible for timeliness of all regulatory and financial filings

- Responsible for internal audits and conducting external regulatory and compliance audits

- Liaise with external legal counsel on compliance and other matters

Facilities management :

- Oversee a team of facility managers

- Coordinate with Corporate Facilities Manager/Director in US

- Manage vendor relationships for facilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and experience :

Required :

- CA/MBA-Finance with 15+ years of experience

- Should have worked in an IT organization with locations in India and headquarters in USA

Preferred : CS/LLB
