Principal Accountability:
Key activities and decision making areas
Business and Service Delivery
Ensure high quality service delivery to provide best in class business analysis.
Support the business with analysis on standard performance reports providing comparison v/s Plan, prior period, prior year, etc. as well as ad hoc and changing business requirements.
Lead and deliver to analytical / change projects or ad hoc decision support requirements as and when needed.
Support the Annual Operating Plan and LE preparation and consolidation process, including preparation of key assumptions, drivers and comparisons.
Collaborate with other MI and Analysis teams to share best practices & standardisation of analysis where possible.
Proactively manage capacity within the Analysis team to ensure optimal support to the business.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
Supporting the Global Group, Regional and Product Heads of Management information in Global Finance, to:
1. Be the key point of contact for Analysis.
2. Deliver business requirements to support ad hoc decision support and analysis.
3. Build and maintain deep, supportive, productive relationships with MI leadership in-country finance teams globally.
4. Drive service quality efficiency and improvement of the Analysis team.
Project Management
Proactively engage with the in-country teams to understand their business requirements for analysis and ongoing change agenda.
Ensure adequate resources are aligned to analytical projects and business / change initiatives to meet the timelines.
Identify, resolve, and escalate risks and issues as appropriate.
Leadership and People Management
Provide leadership and issue resolution for any escalations of service delivery or quality issues in the Analysis team.
Continue to develop and enhance scale and scope of business analysis and decision support provided to Global MI teams.
Work with Global MI teams in country to develop the analytical capability and business knowledge, including thorough training and knowledge sharing sessions, exchange of talent to and on short term assignments, etc.
Build a talent pipeline to ensure succession planning that supports high service quality.
Provide ongoing training and development to the Analysis team to drive capability improvement.
Create a productive team environment which fosters free sharing of knowledge & ideas.
Collaborate with the MI production teams to resolve and improve accuracy and efficiency levels of MI reports.
Operational Excellence and control
Ensure compliance with and periodic review/update of FIM, data definitions, or other relevant governance frameworks in collaboration with MI Heads.
Ensure quality of output by the Production and Analysis teams
