The team is currently in the middle of rapidly expanding its operations and is hiring for the position of Vice President - Finance to lead the Finance and Accounts functions. This role reports into the CEO. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Ensure internal and external reporting of financial information as per accounting standards, to measure performance and make key decisions - Establish systems and processes across eCommerce and Retail teams for proper financial control and reporting - Identify through consultation with the senior management team the key actions necessary to achieve the financial plan - Develop accurate annual financial forecasts and track the same. - Develop the annual budget and manage it - Lead the Accounts and Finance teams and set up company-wide checks and balances for financial control - Ensure all regulatory compliance - Wholly responsible for the full spectrum of the finance function, including working capital management, internal controls, tax, and statutory compliance - Recommend benchmarks for the measurement of company financial performance goal. - Perform financial evaluation and decision making for new business proposals - Analyze capital investments, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions - Publish complete and timely financial statements to company executives, shareholders, and the board, including key metrics and performance against the annual plan - Liaise with statutory and internal auditors, tax regulators, accounting regulators and regulatory bodies JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED - Experience in managing the Finance & Accounts functions for a retail company - Additional experience in an eCommerce company preferred EDUCATION: Chartered Accountant (Mandatory) WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience COMPENSATION: AS PER INDUSTRY STANDARDS We run a fast-paced, dynamic business and the challenges we face and solve every day are unique.
